The squash club is currently a hive of activity with the Leinster league and an internal box league in full swing.

 

Box League
In 2009 the club captain introduced a “BOX LEAGUE” competition for all members. This has proved to be a huge success with each group containing 5/6 members who play each other during a particular month. Approximately 50 players compete in the box league every month. Players can move up or down between boxes depending on how they do in their matches. Members can enter on a monthly basis by e-mailing your name and contact details to squashmountpleasant@gmail.com

The club has entered a number of league teams in the Leinster Leagues with 2 teams also entered in the Vets leagues. For full details on how the various teams are doing, please log onto www.leinstersquash.ie. The mens teams are in Premier, Division 1,3,4 & 6 with the ladies in Div 1 & 2.

In 2009 the Men's division 4 and 5 teams both won their respective leagues thus winning promotion.

In 2010 the Ladies A team won the Cup.

New Members can come along to club night held every Thursday from 7.30pm to 9pm.

All levels of squash player are very welcome, the club have beginner squash players right up to Premier players.

A junior club night is held every Sunday from 5.15pm to 6.45pm and every Tuesday from 4.15pm to 6pm.

The squash club uses an online court booking system. This booking system is accessed by clicking on the 'Online Booking' link from the squash menu. Members can book a court up to 8 days in advance using a membership number and password obtained from the office on joining the club. There is a computer terminal in the Bar for those who do not have internet access. You must place a sticker on the court booking sheets before playing. Stickers are purchased at the bar.
