With the day that's in it, we propose a green theme so we can relax the predominantly white tennis attire!!
Our resident leprechaun, Aidan, will be looking after the catering so who knows what will come out of his pot of gold?!
If you have friends visiting, they are also welcome to play or come along for the festivities (just ensure they have the correct shoes as we would hate green streaks on the courts!)
So come down and join in for the bia agus deoch, ceol agus craic all for 200 shillings (€10 per person).
Sign in from 2pm!

Comiserations to Team 5 (Captain Seamus Murphy) who were literally pipped at the post 1-2 against Laytown/Bettystown 2 in Class 6. It was down to the wire with the decider going to a 3rd set with the Mount Pleasant lads giving it their all. Well done to all who played on this team and thanks for putting in a fine campaign.
Congratulations to Team 1 (Captain Dave Boland) who put in another superb display in Wiclow town. Mount Pleasant went ahead 2 - 0 with the third pair going into a 3rd set when we were declared the winners. This means we have been promoted into Class 2 which is brilliant news for the club. Again thanks to all who played on this team - we are very proud of you!!
However we want and deserve more!!!! - the semi finals are being played in Rathgar next Sunday and we have every chance of getting through to the final so please come along and show your support at 11am.
Thanks Stephen & Seamus
Team 7 got off to a promising start against Arklow 1sts on home turf but it was Arklow that pulled through with 2 wins to seal their victory. Hard luck to captain Jenny Porter and her dedicated team but what a successful campaign they had together with their supersubs over the last 7 weeks, you did Mt P very proud so roll on the 2011 campaign!
Team 3 travelled not very far to Glenalbyn to meet their 2nd team and dished out what could only be described as a clinical annihilation of their opposition! In fact, supporters arriving just one hour after start of play were gobsmacked to find that the win was secured without having to finish the 3rd tie.
Many congrats to captain Leo Mullett and her team of superstars who are PROMOTED TO CLASS 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again to all supporters for making it out to watch the girls. Check back again later in the week for news on Team 1 and Team 3's Semi Final fixtures for next sunday.
