Ladies Team 2 in Class 2 Final!

Congratulations to Captain Suzanne Moloney and her warriors Laura, Grainne, Christine, Wem, Margaret H and Ciara M who overcame Westwood Leopardstown 1 on Tuesday night in Mount Pleasant to gain qualification to Class 1 for next year and reach the Class 2 final!!!

The support from the home crowd was magnificent as we closed in on winning the vital 3 points. While Wem/Christine and Grainne secured the first 2 points, we didn't know what match to look at but it was captain Suzanne's turn to pump the fist of glory, even though Laura and Margaret/Ciara were on the verge of winning anyway!!

The Class 2 final takes place against Clontarf 1 in Clontarf LTC at 12pm on Saturday 26th so all support would be hugely welcomed as the girls have a great chance to go all the way and bring home da bacon!

Hard luck to Team 3 who met a very strong Rathgar team in the Class 3 semi final. However, promotion to Class 2 was gained from their quarter final so we are immensely proud of this achievement.

Mt P now have their first 4 ladies teams in Premier, Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 - a strength that no other club has - well done to everyone for their spirit and committment!
