Ladies Team 3 promoted to Class 2!!!!!!!!!!!!

On saturday morning, Team 3 played Celbridge 1 in Mt P in the all important class 3 quarter final, the weather didn't disappoint and the tennis didn't either! Mt P took control early on with Ruth and Michelle K taking a doubles point and Claire B taking a singles point to give us an early 2-0 lead. All 3 remaining games went into a 3rd set at the same time just to make the spectators more nervous!! Marta B thrilled her fellow teammates and supporters by closing her 3rd set 6-4 and securing a 3-0 victory to gain promotion to Class 2

Huge congrats to captain Ruth Stafford & teammates Germaine, Marta, Claire B, Michelle K, Aoife B & supersub Leo who won their class 3 Qfinal on sat vs Celbridge 1 - brilliant result and great achievement for Mt P - well done from everyone in the club!
