April 2010, 505 Badminton Tournament Report
The inaugural Mount Pleasant Badminton Club 505 Tournament took place on Friday 9th April. The tournament was played in ‘round-robin’ format, guaranteeing a good spread of games for all participants. Participants enjoyed the evening, and it was agreed that this was ideal preparation for a few pints in the bar at the 505 social night afterwards!
The tournament was won by Garrett Coleman and David Lynch, with Chris Fusco and Brian McNamara runners up.
With the Mount Pleasant Club Championships / Handicap Tournament taking place in May, the next 505 Tournament is provisionally scheduled for June 11th. Please watch the notice board for details and website for details.
